Spring 2012 season

Next Soccer board meeting 9th  February 6-7:30 at the Amery Villiage Pizzeria, Volunteers and Visitors welcome.

Open Registration from 1 December to 31 January

Walk in
player and volunteer registration events are Done.

31 January 2012 - Last Day of online player registration 
Volunteers can register anytime at www.eayso.org

1 February 2012 – Player waiting list begins - any player wanting to play will be put on a waiting list.

10 February 2012 - town directors complete team building for their town teams.

12 February - Uniforms order goes out

11 February through 1 March - Town directors put together coaches; assistant coaches and team parents for their teams.

24, 25, 26 February, 2012 AYSO Section 6 Conference and training in Schaumburg, IL, see AYSO website for more details. Contact Dan Kegley if you would like to attend with him at ayso1236@live.com.

1 March – Field Equipment and paint inventory and ordering

24 March 2012 - AYSO Area B Training in Cumberland
Course offered: BASIC, Treasurer, Registrar, CVPA, Safety Director, Safe Haven, Basic Referee, Basic Coaching Courses: U5,U6, U8, U10, U12 
NOTE: All U6 and up coaches are required to have coach training and be certified in the division they are coaching contact Dan Kegley for more information at ayso1236@live.com

27 March from 6:30 to 8:30pm - Part 1 Coach training - hands on training at Amery Middle School gym
29 March from 6:30 to 8:30pm - Part 2 Coach training - safe haven training at Amery Middle School classroom

TBD March - Local Regional Referee training in Amery

5 April - REQUIRED: All Team Parents meeting at Amery Middle School from 6-7 PM to organize their team uniforms and schedules.

10 April - REQUIRED players meet your coach night for Clear Lake, Clayton & Turtle Lake teams from 6-7 PM (A 15 minute coaches meeting will be right after starting at 7:05) Location is Clear Lake Elementary Gym

12 April -
REQUIRED players meet your coach night for Amery teams from 6-7 PM (A 15 minute coaches meeting will be right after starting at 7:05) Location is Amery Middle School Gym

14 April and 21 April 2012 Field Set up (please help, we need all the help we can get to move and secure goals and layout lines)

16 April - spring soccer practices starts

23 April 2012 - Spring games start
Monday nights - U5 practice and games
Tuesday nights - U6 practice and games
Thursday night - VIP practice and games
Saturday mornings - U8-U19 games
There will also be some weeknight games for U8-12
This schedule would give the following number of games:

U5 – 8 games

U6 – 9 games

U8 - 10 games

U10 – 10 games

U12 – 12 games (2 Saturday double headers with other Area traveling teams)

U14 – 14 games (7 Saturday double headers)

U19 – 14 games (7 Saturday double headers)

Last game for U5-U12 teams goes until June 9th 2012 (Fun Day)

Last game for U14 & U19 traveling teams will go one more Saturday until June 16th 2012

June 23rd Soccer BLAST tournament in Baldwin WI. cost $75 per team, contact Dan Kegley if interested ayso1236@live.com
